32% Year-Over-Year Growth in Downloads——EMI’s Global Impact continues to rise
EMI (Emerging Microbes & Infections) announced a significant increase in paper downloads for the third quarter of 2025, reaching 450,653. This represents a substantial 32.1% year-over-year increase from the 341,024 downloads recorded in the same period of 2024, and continues an upward trend compared to previous years (306,048 in 2023 and 372,663 in 2022).
Furthermore, the total number of paper downloads for the entire year of 2025 has also set a new record high of 1,402,539, making the highest annual performance in the journal’s recent history. This continued growth underscores the expanding readership and growing influence of EMI among the global research community.
